On October 12th and 13th, 2023, at Biretto's T.E.A.C.H. educational organization in Lebanon, Maria Karakostanoglou, the founder of Us Move Learn Grow, actively participated in Rhythmic Movement Therapy (RMTi) training.
This technique employs rhythmic movements akin to infantile reflexes, fostering brain connectivity, maturation, and the integration of primitive reflexes.
RMTi proves advantageous for individuals with ADHD, dyslexia, and similar conditions. Australian Moira Dempsey, RMTi co-founder, led the training, extending her mentorship globally. Lebanon marked the third country this year—following France and Bulgaria—where Moira shared her expertise.
The intensive two-day session, spanning 14 hours, specifically addressed reflexes impacting reading and writing, equipping professionals such as occupational therapists, special educators, psychomotor therapists, behavior therapists, psychologists, mental health therapists, and trauma specialists with valuable tools.
